Helpora only makes sense for small jobs. The person coming lives ten doors away, so there is no travel cost to recover, so a small task is worth their time.

What Helpora does
Tasks appear immediately to verified neighbours already nearby. Most are accepted in minutes, and clear timing helps nearby people understand which requests are most urgent.
Your neighbours could help, but there's no clean way to ask
You type the request into the society group. Four hundred messages later it's gone. And nobody wants to be the person who keeps asking for favours.

A group chat has no way to track who accepted, no way to confirm it was done, and no polite way to recognise someone for their time.

A posted task stays visible until someone takes it. It is a clear request rather than a vague favour, which makes it easier for people to say yes.
Trust is the real blocker
Letting a stranger into your home, or into your parents' home three cities away, is a genuine risk. Who is this person? Has anyone actually checked?

A phone number from a notice board tells you nothing. Neither does a name in a WhatsApp group.
What Helpora does
Every helper completes phone, government-ID (Aadhaar) and live selfie verification. Every profile carries a 0–100 trust score, badges and reviews from other neighbours. Work only starts after you give an arrival code at your door.

Without a trusted platform record, both sides can be left uncertain about what was agreed and whether the task is complete.

Time and skill nearby go completely unused
Within 500 metres of you there are students between classes, homemakers with two free hours, retired neighbours with patience for queues, gig workers between shifts, people working from home. All capable. Their time and skills are often unused.
