A task on Helpora is any small job you'd happily ask a nearby neighbour to do, usually under a few hours, usually within walking distance. You describe the scope and timing, and someone verified nearby can accept it.

Usually 20–45 minutes. Agree the shopping list and delivery details before the task starts.
Cleaning
Home and space cleaning
An extra pair of hands for the mess that is too big for you and too small for an agency.

- Deep clean before guests arrive
- Balcony and terrace wash
- Car wash in the parking area

Usually 1–3 hours, depending on the size of the space and the cleaning involved.
Repairs
Small fixes
The ten-minute jobs no professional will travel for, and that stay broken for weeks because of it.

Learning and coaching
A patient neighbour who is good at the subject your child is stuck on this week.

Usually 1–2 hours per session, with the subject and level agreed in advance.
Errands
Anything that needs legs
Queues, counters and paperwork, done by someone who is already going that way.

- Standing in the bank or post office queue
- Dropping documents at an office
- A courier pickup
- Paying a bill in person

Help in the kitchen on the days when there is simply too much of it.

Animals
Somebody nearby who genuinely likes animals, for the days you cannot be home.

- Feeding while you travel

Moving
Lifting and shifting
Heavy things move much more easily with two or three people who live in the same building.

Usually 2–5 hours. State the number of items, stairs and lifting needs clearly.
Tech help
Screens and setups
The person in your building who is good with devices, when you need them at your table.
