About us
Help was always next door. There was never a good way to ask.
Helpora was built in India, for the way Indian neighbourhoods actually work: buildings full of capable people, and a long list of small jobs nobody can get done.
Where this started
Everyone in India has stood in the same place. A tap has been dripping for a month because no plumber will come for a small. A parent in another city needs medicine on a Sunday. A society WhatsApp group has four hundred messages and not one answered request.
And in the same building, at the same moment, there is a student with two free hours, a homemaker who cooks brilliantly, a retired neighbour who knows exactly how the bank queue works. Willing people, real skills, nothing connecting them to the person who needs them.
What was missing was never goodwill. It was three ordinary things: a way to see who nearby is free, a way to know that person is who they say they are, and a way to pay them fairly without anybody feeling awkward. Helpora is those three things, and not much more.
Why we're called Helpora
The name starts with the one word we care about most: help. Helpora is meant to feel like a place where help is easy to ask for, easy to offer and always close by, the way it used to be when neighbours simply knew each other.
It is a short, friendly name for a simple promise: the help you need is already in your neighbourhood, and Helpora makes it safe and fair to find.
Mission
Make the help that already exists nearby easy, safe and fair to use.
If a neighbourhood can organise itself, a lot of everyday stress simply disappears, and a lot of unused hours turn into honest income.

- Android and iOS apps, alongside the web experience.
- More cities and more neighbourhoods, one dense area at a time.
- Deeper support for residential societies, including gate passes and committee tools.
- Better matching, so urgent tasks reach the right neighbours first.
