For helpers
Earn from the neighbourhood you already live in.
No long commute, shift roster or manager. Accept the tasks that fit your day, do them well and build trust in your neighbourhood.
Who can help
If you have a free hour and you're good to your neighbours, you qualify.
You must be 18 or above, have a phone number, and complete identity verification. That's it.
Students
Between classes, close to the hostel or PG.
Homemakers
Cooking, organising and tutoring you already do well.
Retired neighbours
Queues, errands and patience the rest of us lack.
Between shifts
Tasks already on the route you're riding.
Choose work that fits
Tasks show the scope, location and timing before you accept. Choose only the work that matches your skills and schedule, with no bidding or pressure at the door.
Important task details are shown before you accept, so both neighbours begin with the same expectations.
Availability varies by neighbourhood, time and the needs of people nearby.
Completing tasks
- 1Review the scope, location and timing before you accept.
- 2Use the arrival code before starting the agreed work.
- 3Keep updates and photos in the task chat when useful.
- 4Ask the poster to confirm when the task is complete.
Your profile keeps a clear task history and ratings from neighbours you have helped.
Getting verified
Verification is what gets you the good tasks.
People choose helpers by trust score. Building yours is straightforward and mostly happens by doing good work.
Verify once
Phone, government ID (Aadhaar) and a live selfie. Done once, and your verified badge appears on your profile.
Build your score
Completed tasks, good ratings, turning up on time and low cancellations push your 0–100 score up.
Get picked faster
A higher score means posters accept you sooner, and you get first sight of urgent, time-sensitive tasks.
Why nearby work beats commuting
- Walking distance means less travel and more time for the task itself.
- Short tasks fit between other things: a class, a shift, a school pickup.
- You already know the streets, the shops and the buildings.
- You choose what you take. Nothing is assigned to you.
Bring your neighbourhood together
Helpora works better when more people nearby take part. Invite a neighbour who is reliable, respectful and ready to help your local community.
You are an independent neighbour, not an employee
Helpers on Helpora are independent neighbours who choose their own tasks and hours. They are not employees, agents or contractors of Helpora Pvt. Ltd., and Helpora Pvt. Ltd. does not perform the services itself. It operates the platform that connects the two people involved. Full details are in the Terms & Conditions.
